Act 3, Scene 5 – “The Spectre of a Misdeed”

Twelfth Night has passed, so it’s time to take down the Christmas decorations. As act three spills over into its second year, we kick off with the return of our old friend Hamlet listening to Horatio’s account of the play’s spooky opening.

I originally come up with this one for Halloween, but for one reason or another, I couldn’t get things in order in time, so it’s been languishing in a drawer like the spectre of a misdeed ever since.

This probably doesn’t constitute a New Year’s resolution to devote more time to Zounds, but I certainly hope to add some more in the next few weeks…
